RareHouse Halftone RetroLab™ Desktop is paid, digitally delivered, independently developed standalone software from RareHouse Technology Solutions.
This purchase is for Desktop Beta version 1.1.1 for supported Apple Silicon Mac computers running macOS Ventura 13.0 or later.
By completing your purchase, you acknowledge that you have been given the opportunity to review the product description and agree to the applicable purchase terms presented before checkout, including:

This desktop application is separate from the RareHouse Halftone RetroLab Photoshop plugin. Purchasing one does not include a license for the other.
The current desktop build does not provide a separate in-application license acceptance screen or license-key activation. The terms disclosed and accepted through the purchase process govern this purchase.
Nothing in these terms overrides specific commitments made in the purchase offer or limits rights that cannot legally be excluded.
SOFTWARE COMPATIBILITY & INSTALLATION REQUIREMENTS
RareHouse Halftone RetroLab™ Desktop version 1.1.1 requires:
• An Apple Silicon Mac with an M1 or newer compatible processor.• macOS Ventura 13.0 or later.• Internet access to download the software.• Sufficient available storage for installation, projects, and exported artwork.
The supplied ReadMe recommends 16 GB of unified memory and at least 1 GB of free installation space, plus additional space for projects and exports. These are planning recommendations; a minimum RAM configuration has not been validated.
THIS DOWNLOAD IS FOR APPLE SILICON MAC COMPUTERS.
This package does not include a Windows installer or a verified Intel Mac build. Compatibility with every Mac configuration or future macOS release is not guaranteed.
The download contains a DMG installer and customer documentation. If delivered in a ZIP, extract the ZIP first. Open the DMG, drag RareHouse Halftone RetroLab into Applications, and allow copying to finish before launching it.
Customers do not need Photoshop, Creative Cloud, Node.js, or developer build tools to install the finished application.

RareHouse Technology Solutions does not guarantee error-free operation or identical performance across all supported hardware configurations.
Before using the application for client work or commercial production:
• Test it using duplicate or noncritical artwork.• Keep untouched originals and independent backups.• Confirm that saved projects reopen correctly.• Inspect exported files before printing or delivery.• Test your intended production workflow.
Updates, improvements, and bug fixes may be released, but no particular release date or fix is promised unless expressly stated in the purchase offer. Any updates or support expressly included at checkout remain included according to that offer.
Beta status does not remove applicable consumer rights or remedies.

ARTWORK PROTECTION & PRINT PRODUCTION DISCLAIMER
RareHouse Halftone RetroLab™ Desktop processes raster artwork and may change colors, transparency, dimensions, resolution, and other image properties.
PROTECT YOUR ORIGINAL FILES BEFORE EDITING.
Customers should:
• Keep an untouched original.• Save a separate editable .retrolab project.• Maintain independent backups.• Confirm that saved projects reopen correctly.• Inspect exported files at actual pixel size.• Verify transparency, colors, dimensions, and fine details.• Conduct test prints before full production.
A PNG export is a flattened output, not an editable RetroLab project. Undo history and Finder thumbnails are not substitutes for saved backups.
Removing black, white, or other matching colors may remove important details inside lettering and graphics. Background removal uses color matching and may leave fringes or remove similarly colored parts of the artwork.
Halftone and distressed effects may intentionally create transparent areas.
Upscaling uses interpolation. Increasing dimensions or setting 300 PPI does not recover detail absent from the original image. Resolution metadata alone does not create additional pixels.
Garment previews and mockups are visual approximations. They do not guarantee exact fabric appearance, garment color, print placement, fit, or production results.
The application does not provide CMYK separations, white-underbase generation, or RIP functionality.
RareHouse Technology Solutions and RareHouse Digital Productions do not guarantee suitability for every printer, transfer process, fabric, or production workflow.
PURCHASE ACKNOWLEDGMENT: You acknowledge responsibility for backing up, inspecting, testing, and approving your artwork before final delivery or production, without limiting any mandatory consumer remedies.
COMMERCIAL LICENSE & INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
A valid purchase permits the license holder to use RareHouse Halftone RetroLab™ Desktop for personal and commercial creative work on devices they control, subject to the applicable purchase terms.
Permitted work includes creating original artwork, apparel designs, printed merchandise, and client deliverables.
You retain ownership of artwork you legally own. Using the application does not give you ownership of the software, its source code, branding, or included assets.
THE SOFTWARE IS LICENSED, NOT SOLD.
Unless authorized in writing or permitted by applicable law, you may not:
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the application.• Share the installer with unauthorized parties.• Upload software copies for public download.• Give away, distribute, or sell modified or repackaged copies.• Claim ownership of the application or its source code.• Extract and redistribute included mockup assets as a standalone asset collection.
Personal backup copies may be retained for your permitted use.
You are responsible for obtaining the necessary rights to third-party images, fonts, logos, trademarks, and other content used in your projects. A commercial software license does not grant rights to content owned by others.
These restrictions do not override rights granted under applicable third-party component licenses or applicable law.
PURCHASE ACKNOWLEDGMENT: You acknowledge the permitted commercial uses and redistribution restrictions and understand that the software remains the intellectual property of its respective rights holders.
LIFETIME LICENSE — VERSION-SPECIFIC PURCHASE
RareHouse Halftone RetroLab™ Desktop is offered as a one-time-purchase software license.
A valid purchase grants a non-exclusive, perpetual license to use the specific desktop release purchased, subject to the applicable license terms.
A LIFETIME LICENSE APPLIES ONLY TO THE PURCHASED VERSION.
Purchasing Desktop version 1.1.1 grants continuing permission to use that version. It does not automatically include:
• Earlier or later software versions.• Future major releases or upgrades.• Separately released Windows, Intel Mac, or other platform editions.• The RareHouse Halftone RetroLab Photoshop plugin.• Other RareHouse software products.• Unlimited technical support.• Guaranteed compatibility with future operating systems or hardware.
New releases and separately offered editions may require an additional purchase.
Any updates, upgrades, platform editions, or support expressly included in the checkout offer remain included according to that offer.
“Lifetime” describes the duration of permission to use the purchased release. It does not promise perpetual compatibility, continued development, or indefinite download availability. Retain a personal backup of your installer and purchase receipt.
PURCHASE ACKNOWLEDGMENT: You acknowledge that this license covers the purchased release and does not automatically include other versions, editions, or products.
DIGITAL PRODUCT & REFUND POLICY

ALL SALES ARE FINAL, EXCEPT WHERE A REFUND OR OTHER REMEDY IS REQUIRED BY APPLICABLE LAW.
RareHouse Technology Solutions and RareHouse Digital Productions do not offer voluntary refunds, returns, or exchanges for this digital software purchase.
Subject to applicable law, voluntary refunds are not offered solely because of:
• A change of mind.• Failure to review clearly disclosed compatibility requirements.• An expectation of Windows or Intel Mac support that was not offered.• An expectation of Apple signing or notarization despite the published disclosure.• Dissatisfaction with the disclosed paid beta status.• An expectation of additional versions or products not included in the purchase.

• Lost, damaged, or corrupted artwork.• Lost working time or productivity.• Printing errors or wasted materials.• Missed production deadlines.• Lost revenue, profits, or business opportunities.• Operating-system or third-party compatibility issues.
To the extent legally permitted, the combined aggregate liability of RareHouse Technology Solutions and RareHouse Digital Productions arising from the affected software purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for that license.
These exclusions and limitations do not apply where prohibited by law, including liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
Nothing in this section removes mandatory consumer rights, statutory warranties, required remedies, or express commitments made in the purchase offer. Some jurisdictions do not permit certain exclusions or limitations, so some provisions may not apply to you.

macOS SECURITY, SIGNING & NOTARIZATION NOTICE
IMPORTANT: THIS RELEASE IS NOT APPLE DEVELOPER ID SIGNED OR APPLE-NOTARIZED.
RareHouse Halftone RetroLab™ Desktop version 1.1.1 is distributed independently outside the Mac App Store.
This release has not been signed using an Apple Developer ID certificate and has not been notarized by Apple. macOS may therefore display security warnings or block the application from opening.
A warning may state that the developer cannot be verified or that Apple cannot check the application for malicious software. Such a warning does not, by itself, establish that the application is malicious. However, Apple has not verified this release as free of known malware.
Running unverified software may expose your computer and personal information to security risks. Only proceed if you trust the official download source and believe the file has not been altered.
If you choose to proceed, macOS may offer an application-specific Open Anyway option under System Settings > Privacy & Security after an attempted launch. Availability depends on the macOS version and device-management settings. Opening the application is not guaranteed on every Mac.
